L-shaped corners (furniture)

Corner pieces, usually made of metal in the shape of the letter L or the Greek letter Γ (which is why it is historically called gammatio in Greek). They may sit on the outer surface of the boards, be folded over the edges of the boards or be wrapped around the edges of the boards.
