All the leaves bound together in a single volume and enclosed within a single binding. Bookblocks will normally consist of a textblock (including inserted plates, maps, tables etc.) with interleaving (where present) and separate endleaves. Even if there are no endleaves or other inserted material, the term bookblock can still be used to describe all the leaves within a single binding, as in these cases the textblock is also the bookblock. The word textblock describes all the printed or written leaves whether they are bound or not, and can be used to differentiate the written or printed leaves from the endleaves within a bookblock where this is necessary.

Alle bladene som er bundet sammen i ett bind. Bokblokken består normalt av en tekstblokk (eventuelt med innsatte plansjer, kart, tabeller osv.) med integrerte eller separate forsatser. Uten forsatser eller innsatte elementer kan termen bokblokk fortsatt benyttes, i de tilfellene er bokblokken det samme som tekstblokk.

Lapai, surišti į vieną tomą. Knygos bloką paprastai sudaro teksto blokas (įskaitant graviūras, žemėlapius, lenteles ir kt.) su įdėtiniais lapais (jeigu jų yra) ir atskiraisiais priešlapiais. Net jei nėra priešlapių ar kitų priedų, terminas „knygos blokas“ vis tiek gali būti naudojamas visiems tame įriše esantiems lapams apibūdinti; tokiu atveju teksto blokas yra ir knygos blokas. „Teksto blokas“ apima visus atspausdintus ar užrašytus lapus, įrištus ar ne. Šis terminas gali būti naudojamas, kai reikia atspausdintus ar užrašytus lapus atskirti nuo tame pačiame knygos bloke esančių priešlapių.
